Introduction

Elevator control has evolved from the days of pushing a button, then waiting, then entering the car, then telling it where to go. Bridging the gap between security and vertical transportation. SecuRise allows a building’s security management system to directly interface with the elevator management system and streamline the process of getting authorized people into the building and to their final destination. Today, a bank of elevators can be programed to utilize mathematical algorithms to regulate the most efficient route to each floor.

SecuRise expediently moves people. The system allows the security control point to be located outside the car minimizing travel time by allowing people to be routed to their floors in the most efficient manner possible. Combined with a proximity card reader system, SecuRise assists people in immediately knowing which elevator to enter; they swipe and are directed to which elevator to enter. This prevents the log jam of people attempting to access the in-cab card reader in a traditional elevator security system. This streamlines building entrance times and reduces waiting without a complex change needed or major construction.

SecuRise increases the building’s physical security, as it only provides elevator access to persons authorized to enter, and then only allows them to only go to a certain floor, or multiple (authorized) floors.

SecuRise minimizes extraneous vertical cab movement while reducing overall traveler wait time. Because elevators systems use a tremendous amount of electricity, by focusing elevator movement, the result is an increase in savings and a smaller carbon footprint.
